Daniel Avelino Morales Sr.

On September, 13, 1935, Danny was born in Chicago, Illinois to Aniceta and Avelino Morales. He grew up on the Southside of Chicago and went to school there. In 1958, Danny joined the U.S. Army. Basic training was in Oakland, California and afterwards he was stationed in Hawaii.

After marrying his wife Gloria in 1963, they lived a short time in Chicago before moving to Baytown, Texas. Danny and Gloria were married for 43 years and had two sons, Daniel, Jr. and Mario.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, oldest son, Daniel Jr. and loving wife Gloria Morales.

He is survived by his son, Mario Morales; brother, John Morales; sisters, Anita Arguello, Frances Arroyo, Amelia Garcia, and Manuela Martinez. Grandchildren are: Christina Morales, Jonathan Morales, Kimberly Morales, Ryan Morales, and Brittany Morales. Danny’s great grandchildren are Katelyn, Skiler, Lexie, Gavyn, Brianna, Zadrian, Izayah, Unique, Isaac and Alysia.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Ryan Morales, Joey Martinez, Peter Martyr, Gus Silvas, Peter Chidez and Nayahl Martyr. Serving as an Honorary Pallbearer will be Isaac Mireles.
