David Christian Ufert, 42, of Winnie, Passed away Monday, August 9, 2010. He was born October 27, 1967, in Pampa, Texas to his parents Thomas Ufert and Brenda King Ufert-Eddy and lived in the Baytown area most of his life.
David was an avid outdoorsman, where he spent most of his time in and around water and was fanatical about the Houston Texans and Texas Longhorns football.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Ufert; grandparents, Grace and Ralph Woodruff and step-father, Arnold Bruce Eddy.
Survivors include his mother, Brenda Eddy of Baytown; sister, Tammy Humphreys and her husband Bobby of Baytown; brothers, Tommy Wickesser and his wife Christy of Hearn and James Ufert and his fiancé, Charyle Gillie of Baytown; aunt, Linda King of Washington, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be Friday, August 13, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Evangelist Steve Shirey officiating.
