

David served as an MP in the Army for four years before moving to Houston, TX in 1999. He took pride in his career as a truck driver, in which he was recognized as a member of the Million Mile Club. David was a strong-willed, hardworking, and fun-loving man to be around. He loved his family with all his heart, especially his wife, Evelyn, with whom he had spent 25 wonderful years. David’s son and best friend, Brent Sr., shared countless memories that will forever be cherished. He also treasured the companionship of his loyal dog, Buddy, who was his faithful friend for 14 years. David's favorite hobbies included playing pool, watching the fish jump in his pond, reading, and watching his favorite shows.
David is preceded in death by both his parents; four brothers; one sister; and his dog. David leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Evelyn; his children, Dennis, Brent Sr and wife Michelle, Krystal, David Jr. and wife Nicole; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends, and relatives.
David will be dearly missed by all those who were touched by his amazing soul.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 28, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas 77521, with the funeral service to begin at 10 am. Committal will follow at 12:30 PM, at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
