

Doris Marie Page Macon went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 12, 2007 in Baytown, TX. She was a lifelong resident of Baytown, attended Baker Road Baptist Church, and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.
A graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, she attended Lee College and was employed by Humble Oil and Refining during WWII working on US Navy projects.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, January 15, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Preceded in death by her parents Robert Emmitt and Laura Page and brother Donald Page, she is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Wesley Macon; son Terry Macon and wife Genia of Flower Mound, TX; daughters, Patti Macon and Sharon Macon, both of Baytown; son, Rodney Macon and wife Sharon of Jersey Village, TX; eldest grandson, Robin Macon; only granddaughter, Luanne, with whom she shares a middle name and August 23rd birthday; and youngest grandson, Joshua Macon.
