Dr. David H. Cummings

Dr. David H. Cummings, 76, of Baytown, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Baytown. He was born September 20, 1939 in Stamps, Arkansas to his late parents, Howard Cummings and Nina Bonds Cummings.

Dr. Cummings was a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical School, did his undergraduate studies at Louisiana Tech University and was a practicing OB/GYN in Baytown from 1971 to 2002. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and the Baytown Rotary Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances Marie Spicola Cummings and sister, Mary Lea Dunn.

Survivors include his children, David A. Cummings and his wife Kelly and Michele Cisneros and her husband Sal; grandchildren, Garrett Box, Matthew Cummings, Alyssa Box, Kirby Cummings, Alexis Cisneros, Stephanie Cisneros, and Christian Cisneros as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 5010 North Main Street in Baytown with Father Nick Novak officiating.
