

After adapting to life back in Baytown, he worked in the restaurant industry. He worked for a number of different restaurants before devoting himself to help his uncle manage his restaurant, Bud’s Barbeque.
Growing up in Germany, he maintained dual citizenship so that he could work in the post office. He played soccer, finished school, and completed his secondary education to qualify for the job in the post office as a civil servant. He also worked nights in the theater performing in supporting roles and singing.
Edgar was a person who loved people and never met a stranger. He enjoyed the Texas Bluebonnets. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a wonderful cook. He was always happy and enjoyed life.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Opal and Edgar Leon Peacock; father, Sammy Carol Peacock; aunt, Gearldine Peacock Morton; and uncle, Robert “Bud” Peacock.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Teresa; two loving sons, Samuel Lee and Billy Adam Peacock; daughter, Alexandria “Allie” Peacock (who was his little princess); mother, Edith McCollum; step-father, Bernard McCullum of Winter Springs, FL; uncle, Billy Leon Peacock of Mont Belvieu; and cousins, Donnis, Laura, Paige, James, and Kristen.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 21, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Earthman Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at First Baptist Church, 10110 Eagle Dr., Mont Belvieu, 77580.
