

Edith “Edie” Isom, 67, of Baytown, TX, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, was born December 31, 1938 in West Palm Beach, FL and passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2006 in a local hospital. She was a member of Baptist Temple, was a homemaker, and owned Edie’s Hair Design for 12 years.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Looney officiating. Entombment will follow at the Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan LeBouf, Jason Hale, Jam Harrelson, Danny Isom, Keith Kuenzel, and Jerry LeBouf.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Thompson; mother and stepfather, Vinia and Shorty May; daughter, Debbie Baker; and brother, Colin Thomson. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Howard Isom of Baytown; son, Larry Walker of Baytown; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jerry LeBouf of Mont Belvieu; stepson and wife, John and Barbara Isom of Waller; stepdaughters, Janet Harrelson and Karen Isom, both of Baytown; sisters and brother-in-law, Myrtice and Adrian Stratton of Salt Springs, FL and Iva Nell Scott of Okeechobee, FL; brother and sisters-in-law, Loyd and Peggy Thompson of Fernandina Beach, FL and Mary Ellen Thompson of West Palm Beach, FL; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; longtime friend, Mary DeWitt of Baytown; and special home health caretaker, Carrie Stephenson.
