Ella Helen Nehr, 98, of Baytown, TX was born September 26, 1908 in Mendoza and passed away Monday, January 15, 2007 in a local nursing home. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. She was also a resident of Baytown Nursing Home, whose staff her family would like to thank for the love and care Mrs. Nehr received while there.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Fernando Cemetery in San Antonio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Nehr, son, Alfred Nehr, and daughter, Josephine Pooley and is survived by her granddaughter, Melanie Strange, great granddaughter, Deidre Strange, great grandson, Ryan Strange, and former son-in-law, David Pooley, all of Baytown; and several nieces and nephews.
