Ernest Carroll Jr.

Ernest Carroll Jr., 75, loving husband and father, of Highlands, TX was born August 7, 1930 in Ocean Springs, MS and passed away Monday, April 10, 2006 in a local hospital. He was a retired truck driver for DSI and was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean conflict.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday, April 13, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. At his request, his body will be cremated and his family will have a private memorial service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Melvina Carroll and three brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Betty Barbara Carroll of Highlands; son and daughter-in-law, Ernest Carroll III and wife Norma of Baytown; daughters and son-in-law, Debra Kay Carroll of Highlands and Georgia Michelle Carroll-Warren and husband John and Betsy Michelle Carroll, all of Baytown; grandchildren, Sunny Diane Nelson of High Island and Traci Elizabeth Carroll, Ashley Mechelle Carroll, Christopher Jacob Eddy, Stephen Irving Warren, Joseph Michael Warren, and Tyson Abshier, all of Baytown; and great grandchildren, Darrian Nelson, Mary Isabella and Joykay Giangrosso, Shyanne Smith, and Donald Matthew and Stephanie Lynn Findlay.
