Esther Lee Goodman

Esther Lee Goodman, 86, of Baytown went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 22, 2009. She was born in New Baden, Texas to Lester and Annie Hobbs. She was a faithful member of the Community of Christ Church. She was a long time member of the Baytown Women’s Bowling Association and volunteered for the Baytown Medical Center. She enjoyed crocheting, playing games, fishing, and being around people.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis R. Goodman. She is survived by her son, Richard Lee Goodman; grandchildren, Debbie Langham and husband Gary, Lewis Lee Goodman and wife Vicki, Danny Goodman, Tammy Goodman, and Richard Lee Goodman II; numerous great grandchildren, and her very special pet pug, Suzie-Q.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home, Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Elder Karen Coit, Elder Jonathan Coit, and Rev. Clay Duckworth officiating. Graveside services will follow at Cedar Bayou Masonic Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Goodman, Lewis Goodman, Richard Lee Goodman II, Jimmy Williamson, Jimmy Hobbs, and Daryl Hobbs. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Goodman, Howard Hobbs, Jerry Williamson, Jack Jackson, Gary Langham, and Bobby Williamson.
