

Floreine (Fluffy) Fisher Norwood died February 7, 2005, at 93 years of age. Born September 5, 1911 in Cedar Bayou, Tx. to Osee E. Fisher and Zola Alice Lawrence, Fluffy attended Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton, Tx. and on December 10, 1933, married Briten E. Norwood, chemical engineer for Shell Oil of Deer Park. A member of First United Methodist Church of Pasadena, she was a loving wife and mother to her two daughters, Sibyl Jean (Norwood) Hancock and Diane Elaine (Norwood) Fields. An avid reader and devoted lifetime gardener, Fluffy dedicated much time and energy over the years researching her family’s genealogy. Always so full of life, she brought joy and happiness to her family, and remained throughout her life a loving friend, grandmother, sister, mother, and wife.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Briten E. Norwood, and her daughter, Sibyl Hancock, she is survived by her daughter, Diane Fields, sons-in-law, Willie Fields and Tommy Hancock, brother, Osee W. Fisher and sister-in-law, Maxine Fisher, niece Pam Jenkins, nephew Joey Fisher, and grandsons Kevin Hancock, Britt and Brian Fields.
A celebration of her life will be held graveside on Thursday, 11:00 am, at Grandview Cemetery in Pasadena with Rev. John Black officiating and Rocky McCain as vocalist. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at Navarre Funeral Home.
