Frances Elizabeth Bond

Frances Elizabeth Bond, 82, formerly of Baytown, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011. She was born on Aug. 8, 1928, in Springfield, IL, and was a resident of Baytown, from 1995 until 2008, when she moved to Cypress, TX. She was an active member of the Women’s Auxiliary in Jeff, IL, for many years. She enjoyed working as a pharmacist’s assistant with her husband, Robert Bond, who passed away Nov. 10, 2010. She was a member of St. Mark’s Methodist Church in Baytown.

She will be remembered by all for her warm personality and humor and for leading a life of dignity and grace.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Marion and Edward Marion.

She is survived by her son, Robert Lynn Wheeler of Katy; granddaughter, Janice Lynn Thomas and husband Shayne and four great grandchildren all of Okinawa, Japan; sisters, Thersa Smith, Mary Ellen Clemens, Barbara Seward, Molly Sturgis and Patricia Sronce, all of Springfield, IL, and Margaret Miller of Mobile, AL; brother, Jerry Marion of Springfield, IL; stepchildren, Linda Nowak, Dick Bond of NJ, Ed Bond of Champaign, IL, Mike Bond of Springfield, IL, and Robbie Bond, also of Springfield, IL.
