Francis Marion Williams

Francis Marion Williams, 96, of Baytown was born August 15, 1912 in Sedan, KS and passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009 in a local hospital. He was a member of the Assembly of God faith and had been a farmer in his earlier years. He loved horses and being a cowboy and he enjoyed fast cars.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Leah Williams and Leila Williams and son, Don Jones. He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Clyde and Georgia Williams of Apple Valley, CA, Larry and Linda Williams of Roseburg, OR, Jack and Zanna Williams of Baytown, Jim and Chris Williams of Highlands, Wayne Williams of Garland, David and Susan Williams of Dayton, Mike and Mary Williams of Highlands and Chester and Pat Cotter of Many, LA; daughters and sons-in-law, Chris Waggoner of Conroe, Esther and Homer Waggoner of Highlands, Beverly and Ernest Foster of Glen Ellen, AL, Grace Messick of Vinita, OK and Janice Wren of Anderson; sisters-in-law, Mildred Williams of Wichita, KS and Juanita Williams of Bell Gardens, CA; 39 grandchildren, more than 65 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Pastor Derick Triggs officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
