Francisco Luna Mendoza, 88 was born on November 22, 1935, in Saucillo, Chihuahua. He passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Estela Elvira Luna, his son Miguel Francisco Luna and wife Josephine, daughter Josefa “Josie” Luna, daughter Elvia Luna-Quinones and life partner Martin Enciso, daughter Graciela Luna-Jaramillo and husband Rafael Jaramillo. He also leaves to cherish his memory 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, Brothers Arnulfo, Candido and numerous god children.
Francisco retired as a mechanic from Hi-Port Industries after 19 years of service. During his younger years he worked as a bus driver. He retired at the early age of 62 years to enjoy traveling with his family and friends. He also loved fishing, doing mechanics on cars and working on his yard.
He was preceded in death by his parents Miguel and Eustolia Luna, daughter Silvia Estela Luna, daughter Maria Delores Luna, sisters Rafaela, Maria de Jesus and Maria Dolores.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521 with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1124 Beech Street, Baytown, Texas 77520 at 11:00 am with a graveside service at 12:30 pm at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521.
