Frank M. Melton

Frank M. Melton, 83, of Lufkin, TX, passed away on 3-12-05. He was born on 4-17-21 in Granite, OK to parents J.W. and Letha May Melton. He moved to Baytown in 1941, and after retiring from Ashland Oil, moved to Lufkin in 1986.

He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Melton in 1985; his parents; and his older brother, W.L. Melton.

He is survived by his children, Bill Melton and wife Doris of Lufkin, Maxine Moravits and husband Victor of Lufkin; grandsons, J. Wesley Melton and family of San Angelo, TX, Gordon B. Melton and family of Paducah, TX, Cory D. Moravits and fiancée, Andrea Rocha of Houston, TX; foster grandson, Terry Summers and family of Lufkin, TX; 6 great granddaughters; 2 great grandsons; sisters, Lillian Railsback of Baytown, TX, Geraldine Wetzel of Big Sandy, TX, Mildred Wakefield of Garland, TX, and Ruby Walker of Wills Point, TX; brothers, Leon Melton of Dallas, TX, and Jimmy Melton of Wills Point, TX.

The family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, 3-15-05 at 1:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery at the mausoleum, officiated by Dr. Ed Weatherly.
