Wade was born the first of four children to Walter Gerald and Elizabeth Louise Tomlinson
on April 28,1947 in Liberty, Texas. He graduated from Baytown Robert E. Lee High School
in 1966.
Wade went to work for Soltex Polymer in 1968 as a process technician. Throughout the
years, he continued to work in the refinery industry in various positions with multiple
companies until his retirement in 2014.
He enjoyed the great outdoors. Some of his favorite places were the National Parks in
Yellowstone, the mountains in Colorado, and scuba diving in Mexico. He enjoyed riding his
motorcycle, and he loved his pets. He also loved his grandchildren and took opportunities
to spoil them.
He is survived by his daughter Tracey Tomlinson Riffle and husband Matt, son Danny
Tomlinson and wife Mandy, and son Walter Gerald Tomlinson. He also leaves to cherish
his memory: sister Becky Tomlinson White and husband John, grandchildren Courtney
Riffle and fiancé Darren Trivedi, Spain Tomlinson, Jayli Graham, Kaylee Berry, and
numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Walter Gerald
Tomlinson, mother Elizabeth Louise Tomlinson, and brothers Allen and Stephen
Tomlinson.
A celebration of life is scheduled for February 26, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10 AM, and
graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM at Earthman Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will
be Spain Tomlinson, Matt Riffle, Darren Trivedi, Kelly White, Jason Faulk, and Isaac
Vasquez. Brother Bobby Baillio will officiate the ceremony
