

She lived almost all of her life in Baytown, attended Baytown schools and was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and was a charter member of Lakewood Church of Christ.
Mrs. McLean was a faithful Christian woman whose love for God and the church was apparent in the way she lived her life. She was much loved by many friends and her family. Though she will be greatly missed, her loved ones are comforted by the promise from Revelations: ""And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, nor any more pain.""
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Eugene V. McLean.
Survivors include her daughter, Ellen Guidry and her husband Loyd; son, James E. McLean and his wife Kathy; grandsons, Jim Guidry and his wife Brenda and John Guidry and his wife Martha; granddaughters, Melissa Coffey and her husband Richard and Heidi McLean; step-granddaughters, Tippi Svoboda and Alana Spears; sisters, Avis Sanders, Doris Simmons and Janice Thomas and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express great appreciation to Tippi Svoboda, for her loyalty, dedication and care given to Mrs. McLean.
A graveside service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at San Jacinto Memorial Park in Houston with Brad Morrow officiating.
