Glenn Ray Zeke Fanestiel

Glenn Ray ""Zeke"" Fanestiel, 72, of Baytown was born on September 28, 1942, in Baytown and passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015, at his home with his family by his side. He was a 1961 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Lubrizol Corporation with 29 years of service and was a member of Baytown Community Church. He was a happy man who never met a stranger. He enjoyed woodworking and made many life long friendships over the years through coaching his daughter in softball. He devoted his life to being the best husband a wife could ever dream of and his world revolved around his daughter and grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Clara Fanestiel and brother & sister-in-law, Jerald & Mary Nann Fanestiel. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Karen Fanestiel and daughter, Susan Fanestiel Hunt, both of Baytown; grandchildren, Carson and Kenedi (who loved their De-Da), sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and SH Price, and several nieces/nephews.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Hill officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Klein Memorial Park in Pinehurst.
