Helen Beroo

Today we celebrate the life Helen Beroo, aka Aunty Helen. She was welcomed to this earth on August 18th, 1950 to Olive and Hubert Jagrup in the beautiful island of St.Lucia. She was the fourth of eight children; Winifred (deceased), Flavien, Mary, Meinrad, Francis, Theodore and Fabian.

Helen was married to Daniel Beroo for 56 years and they were proud parents of six children; Cyprian, Laurentia (deceased), Wendy, Myrtle, Chris and Shanna. Her grandchildren: Gilly, Kavan, Adriel, Krystal, Uhzian, Anya, Nevian and Kara. She was Aunty Helen to nineteen nieces and eighteen nephews. Helen has two daughter- in-law's; Margaretta and Shannase and son-in-law's; Rupert, Arthur, Jarron, Peter. Her sister-in-law's include: Joycelyn, Mary, Verdan, Elizabeth, Martha, Irene and Lucia. Brother-in-law's: Smith (deceased), Peter (deceased), Cami, Julian (deceased), Richard (deceased), Thomas, Kenneth, Michael and Ervin. God daughters; Maggie, Cecilia and some of her close friends were: Erma, Lister, Cathy, Theresa, Guy, and the Baytown SDA church family and other friends too numerous to mention.

Helen had a contagious smile, she was an encourager, longsuffering and loved coming to church. She truly exhibited strength during her long illness and never gave up on the Lord. Sadly, on August 2nd, 2023 she departed this world. She will truly be missed but never forgotten.
