Mrs. Zimmerman was daughter Kelly's first teacher and I could not have wished for anyone better. Being a single parent, I participated in some of class activities during the year, most times only dad there. Always enjoyed talking with her. Condolences and prayers for the family. God Bless!

Dear Andy and Ruth,
So sorry for your loss. Praying for you and your family. Your mother was such a precious friend. Taught with her all those wonderful years at Carver Jones Elementary. She loved her kindergarten children and they loved her. Sweet, sweet lady.

Helen and I go back 34 years ago at Carver as co-workers. She definitely loved and was dedicated to teaching and touching children's lives. She surely was one of God's chosen warriors. May Helen rest in peace and family cherries those great memories .

Mrs. Zimmerman was my kindergarten teacher at Carver. She would always tell me she was going get my sister when I cut up. It was no fun having a sister who taught at your school and was friends with your teacher.
