Henrietta Manley

Henrietta Manley went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 13, 2006. She was born February 22, 1917 to Wilma and Agnes Thibodeaux in Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lester Manley, and two sisters.

Henrietta loved life. She was extremely active for many years. She was a wonderful Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved playing games with her friends, worshiping at her church and gardening.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Larry Kunz of Baytown, her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Pearlie Manley of Normangee, Michael and Jennifer Manley of Baytown, her grandchildren, Joel and Laura Kunz, Kimberly and Brian Aubin, Page and Bob Martin, Jesse Manley, and John David Manley. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Kendall Aubin, Lauren Kunz, and Colton Manley, and one sister, Eula Mae Crutchfield of Refugio, Texas.

Henrietta was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church and very active in Baytown Senior Citizens.

Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Navarre Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Jimmy Welch. Burial will follow at Cedar Bayou Masonic Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. John’s United Methodist Church, or a charity of your choice.

The family would like to thank Dr. Chris Hayes, the staff at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital, Triumph Hospital, the special care givers at Swan Manor and the wonderful staff at RHC in Baytown for the excellent care they gave our mother during her time of illness.
