Homer ""Mac"" McKinney, 90, of Baytown, TX was born November 28, 1920 in Cedar Bayou and passed away Monday, February 21, 2011 in a Houston hospital. He was a U. S. Navy WWII veteran, a longtime area rancher, and a member of Cedar Bayou United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Elk's Club, Woodmen of the World, Baytown Boat Club, Texas Rifle Association, and National Rifle Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Georgia McKinney and brothers, Alva McKinney and Forrest McKinney and is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Bill Olson of McKinney.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held Friday, February 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cedar Bayou Masonic Cemetery with Dr. Jon Blake officiating.
