

Irma Flores, 64, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 24, 1960, in Raymondville, Texas, to the late Jose and Odilia Garcia Reyes. At the tender age of 18, Irma married the love of her life Ramiro, where they spent the next 47 years together raising their children and becoming grandparents.
Irma pursued many interests, some of which included cooking, BBQing, and watching soap operas. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She loved nothing more than being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She took pride in going on field trips and participating in her grandchildren’s school functions. Irma also enjoyed the simple things in life like just staying home, spending time with her husband. She was funny and easily lit up a room with her vibrant personality. Irma had a dark sense of humor and found pleasure in the many pranks or jokes she would play on her family. If you ever needed a good laugh, she was always a phone call away. She leaves a legacy of laughter, love and inspiration in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Martha Campos; and her brothers Abel Reyes and Jose Reyes. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, her beloved husband Ramiro Flores; her children Veronica Villalobos and husband Antonio, Jr., Rosa Flores, Beatriz Portales and husband Francisco, Cristina Flores and husband Irving, and Selena Flores and husband Sean,; her grandchildren Ramiro Flores, Justin Flores, Adam Garza, Brianna Garcia, Alyssa Portales, Joseph Soto, Marissa Soto, and Isabella Soto, her great-grandchildren Ramiro Flores, III., and Hortencia Flores; her sister Cindy Huerta and husband Frank; her numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
