

Isaac Barba, 15, of Beach City was born February 1, 2000, in Baytown and passed away Monday, July 20, 2015, in a Houston hospital surrounded by his loving family. He enjoyed playing basketball and he attended Barbers Hill High School and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Mont Belvieu. He enjoyed all the activities that the outdoors had to offer but more than anything, he loved to fish, particularly for redfish. Even while on trips with his family, he was always looking for a place to fish.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Salvador Barba, Sr. He is survived by his parents, Salvador and Laura Barba and brother and sisters, Adrian, Ashley, Kimberly, and Abigail Barba, all of Beach City; grandparents, Ricardo and Irene Garcia of Cove and Maria Barba of Beach City; great grandmothers, Bertha Garcia of Raymondville, Guadalupe Chapa of Lasara, and Florentina Ponce and Dolores Barba, both of Mexico; aunts and uncles, Ricky and Tyrae Garcia of Mont Belvieu, George and Elizabeth Rodriguez of Baytown, and Osvaldo and Rachel Barba of Beach City; cousins, Andrew, Jacob, Matthew, Penelope, Tori, and Presli; and numerous great aunts, great uncles, and cousins.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday beginning at 4:00 p.m. with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be Friday, July 24, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3515 Trinity Dr., Mont Belvieu, TX 77580, with Rev. Kanh Ho officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be George Rodriguez, Osvaldo Barba, Hector Garcia, Mario Perez, Dan Garcia, and Andrew Rodriguez. His cousins will serve as honorary pallbearers.
