

Jack E. Jungbluth, 84, of Baytown was born January 16, 1924 in Greenville, NM and passed away Monday, March 3, 2008 in a local hospital. He loved to travel, was a member of Central Baptist Church and served in the U. S. Army during WWII and the Korean conflict. Jack and Milton Lorenz, with whom he had worked with since 1952, co owned the Trophy Barbershop on Texas Ave. from 1975 until 2001, which has been a unique fixture for many years in downtown Baytown.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 51 years, Jo Jungbluth; second wife, Alice Martin; and brothers, Dick Jungbluth and Jim Jungbluth. He is survived by his daughters, Kay Richards and Janet Flournoy and her former husband, Terry Flournoy, all of Baytown; son, Teddy Jungbluth of Cleveland, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Shirley Jungbluth of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Shea and Blake Richards, Taryn and Kade Flournoy and Evan and Kyla Jungbluth; and great grandchildren, Jordan, Chloe and Jaycee.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Westerman, A. J. Lewis, Charles Guidry, Floyd Trchalek, Cecil Anderson and Franklin Krampota.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, March 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Dees officiating. Entombment with military honors will follow at Memory Gardens.
His family would like to say a special ""thank you"" to the staff at Swan Manor assisted living facility.
