Jackie Dean Bass, Sr.

He was a longtime resident of the East Harris County area, a US Army Veteran and a retired Project Engineer from Intercontinental Terminals Company.

Mr. Bass was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Julia ""Judy"" Bass and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his children, Julie Lyn Baker and her husband, Emory, Dean Bass and his wife , Vicky and Roy Bass and his wife, Heather; sister, June Bryan and her husband Jesse; brother, Paul Bass and his wife Sheena; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Navarre Funeral Home. An additional visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2016 at Autry Funeral Home with burial to follow at Providence Cemetery in Jacksonville.
