

Jackie had lived in Baytown for the last 15 years, attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, was a US Army veteran, former member of the Knights of Columbus in Brownsville and was a handyman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joanne Sandlin.
Survivors include his wife, Leticia Sandlin; children, Dorothy Lee Sandlin, Jackie Sandlin and his wife Jessica and Adrian Sandlin and his companion, Tiffany O'Dell; grandchildren, Jackie Sandlin, Jessie Sandlin, Isaac Hunter, Isaiah Hunter, Jasmine Hunter, Aidan Sandlin, Isabella Sandlin and Alyssa Sandlin; brothers, Jesse Sandlin and his wife Juanita and Robert Sandlin; sisters, Judy LaChico and her husband, John and Sandra Villarreal and her husband, Leo and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2016, with a Rosary to follow recited at 7:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Deacon Fernando Gonzales officiating. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with Father Jesus Lizalde officiating. Burial will be held at 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Houston National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Sandlin, Jr., Adrian Sandlin, Leo Lopez, Ismael Lopez, Luis Lopez and Abel Lopez.
