

James William Seigel, Sr., 64 of Highlands, Texas passed away on January 25, 2021. He was born in Pottsville, PA on June 26, 1956 to Joan Rizzuto and Jack Seigel but was raised by Russ Bubeck. Jim was married to his beloved wife, Nora Perez Seigel for 13 years. He worked at Groves Equipment Rental Company for two years, where he thoroughly enjoyed his job as a heavy equipment hauler. Jim was a member of Faith Family Church in Baytown where he served as a greeter. He had a passion for metal detecting, racing, admiring classic antique cars, and most importantly playing with his grandchildren. If there was a family gathering, you could find Jim in the midst of the children. If he wasn’t laughing with you, he was glad to laugh at you.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joan and Russ Bubeck. Jim is survived by his wife, Nora Perez Seigel, two sons: James Seigel, Jr. (Kristen), Matthew Seigel (Rachelle); two daughters: Elizabeth Cornelius (Jared), Elisha Riley, two stepsons, Marc Durant (Jesi) and Matthew Durant; one stepdaughter, Monique Durant; three brothers: Charles Seigel (Aline), Jeffery Seigel, Michael Bubeck, two sisters: Janice Moyer (Robert), Jeanne Buzza; six granddaughters: Haley Cornelius, Morgan Cornelius, Destiny Lowery, Madalynn Riley, Madison Durant, Danielle Durant; seven grandsons: Cade Cornelius, Haiden Riley, Zachary Seigel, Daniel Seigel, Jacob Durant, Rayce Durant, Cooper Bowles; one great grandson: Eli Fortune, and a host of nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed and forever loved in our hearts.
Services are under the direction of Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Rd. Baytown, Texas 77521. Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 12:00pm at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home. Celebration of Jim’s life will begin at 1:00pm.
