

She was born in Clinton, Oklahoma to Lester and Ruth Mitchell. She was married to John B. Tucker, Jr. for 62 years.
Jane had a long career as the Executive Assistant to the Director of the Exxon Baytown Credit Union.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Tucker, Jr., her parents, Lester and Ruth Mitchell, and her brother L.C. Mitchell.
She is survived by her sons, John B. Tucker, III, and Bill M. Tucker and wife Margarete, her niece, Leah Tuffly, her nephews, Mark Mitchell, Linc Mitchell, and John Mitchell, and her special friend and care giver, Angela Williams. She is also survived by her grandsons, Casey M. Tucker and Taylor M. Tucker, and her two great grandsons, Colton Tucker and Aiden Tucker.
John and Jane Tucker’s legacy will be preserved through their generous donations to various charitable organizations, namely Lee College in Baytown.
Tucker Hall, Jane Tucker Student Activities Center, and the Jane M. and John B. Tucker Scholarship Fund will remain and preserve their Legacy.
The Tucker family was committed to giving and helping reshape Lee College by expanding opportunities for students in their community to assist in maximizing their learning potential.
A private family celebration of Jane’s life is being planned.
