In the early morning hours on Sunday April 3rd, God called his angel, Janette Davis, home. She had a long and courageous battle with breast cancer that amazed even the medical personnel that treated her.
She graciously gave up the battle surrounded by her loving family.

She inherited her dad's love of horses and was an avid horsewoman, winning numerous awards on the rodeo circuit for two years. She won the first division UIL twirling award. She also loved music and dancing, spending two years with the Tri-City Ballet Troupe, where her roles included understudy for The Swan Princess in Swan Lake. She lived life to the fullest, never complained about her illness, and encouraged and uplifted everyone she met.
She met her soul mate in Ozona. When they married in 1972, Jerry was serving his country as a U.S. Marine.
