If you knew Jason, you knew he loved to fish and be on the water. His degree in marine mechanics allowed him to do what he loves and to lend knowledge of all things fishing or boating related to whomever he came across that needed help. In fact, when it came to just about anything nature related, he knew the answer. If you didn’t know the name of a bird or fish or how the tides were moving, you just had to ask him. Jason’s most noticeable character trait was the ability to be kind when not everyone could, which led to him never meeting a stranger. He will be remembered most for not always making the best choices for himself, but he would give the shirt off his back for a friend in need. Jason loved and was loved by his friends and family that truly knew the great heart he had.
Jason is survived by his loving and supportive parents Harry and Karen Bennett, Sister and Brother-in-law Kelly & Stephen Prasek, his nephew Dax Prasek, aunts/uncle, cousins and many friends. He leaves his love for the outdoors and fishing legacy to Tanner Raven and Carter Bennett.
