

Jay M. Jackson, 65, of Richardson, TX, formerly Baytown, was born January 4, 1951, in Baytown and passed away Monday, November 28, 2016, in a Richardson hospital. He was a 1969 graduate of Baytown's Robert E. Lee High School and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a football fan and an artist who worked with different mediums in his paintings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard ""Buddy"" and Addie Lou Jackson. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Barbara Jackson; brother and sister-in-law, James and Candice Jackson; grandchildren, Rosemary and Ember Jackson; former wife, Jane Jackson; and was a father figure to Kristen, Anna, and Brandon Rodriguez.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Saturday, December 3, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521 with Rev. David Lancon officiating.
