Jerry Don Carey

Jerry Don Carey, 69, of Baytown was born February 22, 1941 in Cisco and passed away Friday, February 26, 2010 in a local hospital. He enjoyed watching country and western movies and riding his tractor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Mildred Carey and brothers and sisters, Winford Carey, Vernell Lindley, Patsy Terry and Ronald Carey. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Wanda Carey of Baytown; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Connie Carey of Baytown and Robert and Laura Carey of Beach City; daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Roberts Parks of Baytown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edwin and Joyce Carey of Baytown and Gayle and Alva Carey of Caddo; sister and brother-in-law, Dyann and Joe Conway of Baytown; grandchildren, Chad Parks, Chelsy Kemp, Joshua, Lindsay and Sarah Carey and Macey Anglin; great grandchildren, Randy Parks, McKayla Martindale, Ryan Parks, Jayden Kemp and soon to arrive Christopher Anglin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Monday, March 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
