He retired from serving his country after 20 years with the Air Force.
He is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 56 years Delores Funkhouser; children: Steve, Cindy, Amy and Wade; grandchildren: Andrew, Sadie, Savannah, Wesley, Oakley, Steven, Michael, Jennifer and DJ who were all by his bedside when he died.
A memorial celebration of John’s life will be commemorated on his birthday November 13, 2016 at 1:00PM at his residence, 62 CR 4012 Dayton, Texas 77535. John would have been 84 years old.
