Johnny D. Johnson, 79, of Baytown, TX, passed away on December 6, 2021. He was born in Vernon, TX on February 10, 1942 to Virgil and Jean Johnson. He was married to Carolyn Summers for 20 years. Johnny worked in the Oil Industry and retired from Lyondell Industries in 2009. He had a passion for his home, family, friends and neighbors, and his special fur babies, Pumpkin, Thumper, and Phoebe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil D. Johnson and Nola Jean Kirkpatrick; his son, Johnny D. Johnson, Jr.; his twin sister, Jeanne Kay Cash; and adopted daughter, Sharon Summers.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn; son, John David Johnson of Amarillo; daughter Julie Johnson Berry of Mt. Belvieu; sister, Kathie Blanchard of Baytown; 2 adopted daughters, Lisa Gaige of League City and Gaye Sylvester of Baytown; 8 grandchildren; and other extended family members.
