Jonathan Edward Deleon

Jonathan is survived by his mother Rebecca Deleon, Father Arthur Deleon, Grandmother Margarita Deleon in Texas and Grandmother Bonnie Smith in Michigan plus many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members in Michigan, Texas, VA, WV, and NC plus a plethora of close friends and co-workers.

Jonathan lived a wonderful and full life while he was with us. Jonathan filled the hearts of many with joy and gladness with his warm and friendly smile as he gave a “good morning” or a “Hello” to all, throughout each day. Jonathan loved doing many things including singing, drawing, and reading. His special love was being the founder of Clan MacShaggin and Texas Kilt Society. Jonathan was a Protective Security Officer protecting Federal facilities in Houston to include, Mickey Leland Federal Building, DEA, FBI, Federal Court house, and Social Security Administration.

Jonathan was a devoted, caring son and friend that took time to lend his ear and give a word of encouragement to all his many friends and family members. He was well respected by all for his extraordinary kindness and heart of gold. Jonathan will remain in the hearts of his family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 22, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Earthman Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park, Houston.
