

Julia Wright Gervais, 75, of Baytown, passed away Monday, January 28, 2008 at her residence. She was born April 1, 1932 in Houston to her late Parents: Gordon Leon Farned and Lynn Johnson Farned and lived in Baytown most of her life.
Her memberships included the PADI Diving Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, Service League, Women’s Club, Lakeland Yacht Club, the PEO club and she was crowned the first “Miss Humble” in this area.
Julia was a retired receptionist having worked for Dr. Felknor, Dr. Jaubert and the Baytown Pediatric Associates and served her community through Cub Scouts as a Den Mother, a certified Marine Pilot and NAUI dive instructor.
Mrs. Gervais was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband: Robert Anderson and a Step-Son: Keith Anderson.
Survivors include: Husband: Jeffery Gervais of Baytown; Children: Robert L. Wright, Jr. and his wife Katherine Anne Atherton Wright of Baytown, Gordon Wright and his companion Tomi Young of Winnie and Lydia Colynn Richardson and her husband Richard of Baytown; Step-Children: Beverly Anderson and Tracy Anderson; Grandchildren: Enjoli Richardson, Robert L. Wright, III, Trinity Richardson and Joshua Wright; Cousins: Sidney and Robert Farned and the Father of her children: Robert L. Wright, Sr.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Navarre Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 1, 2008 at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Proctor officiating. A private family interment will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
The family would like to extend a Special Thank You to Rick and Jessica, Mary Norris and Faith Community Hospice.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to the American Cancer Society, the Houston SPCA or to the charity of your choice.
