Kenneth Reese Dorsey

Kenneth Reese Dorsey, 60, passed away Monday December 19, 2016 at his home in Cove, Texas. Ken was born on November 2, 1956 in Alliance Ohio to the late William Dorsey and the late Betty Patterson Dorsey at Alliance Ohio in Stark County. Ken was raised in Alliance and moved to Texas in the early 1980’s. He was preceded in death by his brothers Jerry Dorsey, Bill Dorsey and his sister Barbra Stanley.

For many years Ken worked for Western Waste in Pasadena Texas where he met and made life long friends. He had many passions in life, including hunting, fishing, the love of football, and most of all spending time with his friends and family. His obsession of neatness coined the phrase around the Dorsey home “If you let it sit too long, it will be gone”.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of over 25 years, Angila Patterson Dorsey, his son Denton Bradley Dorsey of Baytown Texas and daughters Crystal Dawn Dorsey and husband Mike of Alliance Ohio, Sherry Ann Malone of Dallas Texas, Lindsey Nichole Oyler and husband Jason of Cove Texas and four Grandchildren Kennadi Makaya McNemar of Ohio, Maddox Daniel Oyler, Jaedyn Nichole Oyler and Zayne Reese Oyler of Texas; two brothers, Dave Dorsey and wife Shirley of Florida, Dale Dorsey and wife Cindy of Ohio, and three sisters, Judy Dorsey, Ginger Porter and husband Dave and Janet Gindlesperger and husband Rick all of Ohio; his closest friends of over thirty five years Jesse Cook and wife Pam of Terrell Texas and Jim Nelson and wife Donna of LaPorte Texas.

Ken was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 28, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Earthman Funeral Home 3919 Garth Road Baytown, Texas 77521. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
