

Laurie L. Kader, 54, of Baytown was born February 3, 1960, in Baytown and passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014, in Independence, KS. She was a 1978 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and was a Technician with ExxonMobil for 26 years. She enjoyed staying busy by fixing things and helping others with their projects.
She was preceded in death by her father, James French and sister, Christy Burnes. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Rodney Kader of Baytown; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Leah Kader of Independence, KS; mother, Grace French of Baytown; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Paula French of Baytown, Rick French of Georgetown, Steve and Terry French and David French, all of Baytown, and Danny French of Houston; sisters, Cheryl French and Sherry French, both of Baytown; former sisters-in-law, Cindy Walker of Houston and Mary French of Georgetown; special friend, Ed Vandver of Cleveland; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dogs, Abbigail and Gracie.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday, May 30, 2014, beginning at 4:30 p.m. with a funeral to follow at 6:30 p.m. At her request, she will be cremated afterwards.
