Lillian L. Gregory

Lillian L. Gregory, 83, of Baytown was born March 8, 1934, in Pelly and passed away Friday, May 26, 2017, in Houston. She was a member of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. She was a great cook and seamstress, collecting cookbooks and cooking meals for her large family and sewing clothes for her daughters. She enjoyed traveling both the U. S. and the world with her husband and family during his military career. Most of all though it was time spent with her family that she treasured the most. She enjoyed family gatherings and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Roxie Boney; son, Faron Dale Gregory; brothers, Daniel Boney and Billy Jack Boney; and her lifelong companion and dog, Charee. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Sergeant First Class E. H. Gregory, U. S. Army (Retired); children and their spouses, Robert Kibodeaux, Michael Kibodeaux, Bobbie and Debbie Kibodeaux, Howard Gregory, Vicki Gregory and Bryan Olson, David Gregory, Roger Gregory and Christina Davis, Danny and Gi Gregory, Michelle and Kevin Kinkead, Donnie Gregory and Angela Amrine, and Cheryl Rhoden; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Chester Sopczak and Wanda and Rev. Roy Frazar; 24 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren with 3 more on the way; and 3 great great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00. p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Jirrels officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be her sons. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Kinkead, Bryan Olsen, Brandon Rhoden, Bradley Rhoden, Cameron Gregory, Matthew Kibodeaux, and Sean Rhoden.
