Linda L. Rice

Linda worked for Baker Hughes as an Oilfield Credit Analyst. She was a member of UPC – United Pentecostal Church her whole life. Linda loved and enjoyed church, Christian concerts, traveling, family, thrifting, Matthew, and did I say shopping.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Rice; mom, Oma Lee Williams; dad, Oscar B. Laird; and sister, Brenda Saunders.

Linda is survived by sons, Jimmy Rice and wife Rhonda, Greg Rice and wife Patty; grandchildren, Camryn Rice and fiance Caleb Barbee, Joshua Rice, Matthew Rice, and Lori Starkey and husband Frank; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Jeffery and Guy Jeffery; sisters, Virginia Downing, Alice Bounds and husband Bobby, Janice Trousdale; nieces and nephews, Regina Green and husband Jimmy, Crystal Davis and husband Guy, Robby Bounds and Adrian, Steven Saunders and wife Christina, David Downing, Charlotte Trousdale, Michelle Trousdale, Mike Trousdale and wife Casey, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm, Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Navarre Funeral Home Chapel, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas 77521. Funeral Service will be held at 10 am, Friday, February 7, 2025, at Navarre Funeral Home Chapel. Committal will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery in Baytown, Texas.

Honored to serve as Pallbearers: Rob Bounds, Jimmy Green, Guy Davis, Kyle Davis, Steven Saunders, and Nathan Green. Honorary Pallbearer will be Bobby Bounds.
