Mamdouh Ghobrial, 69, of Baytown, TX was born September 19, 1939 in Cairo, Egypt and passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009 in a local hospital. He graduated from the Cairo University School of Veterinary Medicine.
He was preceded in death by his nephews, Atef I. Rizkallah, M.D. and Sameh Rizkallah and is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Shafik and Judith Ghobrial and Maged and Amani Ghobrial, sister, Tahiat Rizkallah and nieces and nephew, Dr. Dallal and Dr. Magdy Abdelsayed and Nora Rizkallah, all of Baytown and Sari Rizkallah of Brussels, Belgium; and great nieces and great nephews, Joseph, Peter and wife Dan, Mary, and Mina Ghobrial, William and Amy Rizkallah and Christine, John, and Maggie Abdelsayed, all of Baytown and Sarah and Sylvia Rizkallah, both of Brussels, Belgium.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 12 noon at the Archangel Raphael Coptic Orthodox Church, 14220 Crescent Landing, Houston, TX 77062 with Father Athanasius Kaldas officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
