Some of my fondest memories of Papa are spending time with him out in the garage and with the chickens.  He used to let me ""help"" him clean up in the garage and polish the old fashioned car he had out there.  He was always good to me. 

My heartfelt condolences go to each family member and friend of George Simon.  Having just suffered the death of my beloved mother, I know the grieving that follows the death of a parent and loved one.  The beautiful memories are of great comfort.

To the family of Mr. Simon:  I am so sorry to hear about his passing.  I always looked forward to Mr. Simon coming into the office to see Mr. Sandhop.  He always had a wonderful smile which just brightened the whole room.  I know you miss him. God be with you and comfort you.

We, like you all, are saddened by the loss of George and yet we are also gladdened to know he is at peace in a far better place.  He was a wonderful person and we will all sorely miss him, yet he will always have a place in our hearts as we remember him for his generous spirit and his willingness to lend a helping hand wherever and whenever it was needed.

To the family of George we offer our sincere condolences and I can only say George Thanks for everything, the stories, the wisdom and your guidence as I made my way through the Baytown business community. Without your help I would have been lost, but that was George, always helping someone.

It has always been easy to see the love you both had for your father.  I think loving daughters may be one of the greatest blessings a man can have in life.  At the end of your father's days, I hope Death came as a friend.  I also hope for both of you that after sorrow, you will find peace on your doorstep.

Dearest Dottie, You are so brave and have done so much to help others. I know you did your best to ease the suffering of your dear departed dad. My thoughts are with you as you pass through this difficult time.

The smile on Georges face never changed. I meet George in the middle 50s working for Archie reynolds welding shop. We worked on Georges giant  Cock Roach in front of his buisnes.

Well girls & all the family, I want to express my love and care for this family. As some of you should remember I first met George when Cheryl & I met at age 12. I spent alot of time at the Simon home and was always made to feel like I belonged as part of the family. George and my Dad, Clarence Jacobson, were members of the ""Round Table"" at the donut shop for years. This was a group of mature gentlemen from the community that met there every day at 2 pm and all became good buddies. I have fond memories of these times. He will be missed.
