Marcia Vollman

Marcia Vollman, 58, of Baytown was born July 9, 1952 in Aransas Pass and passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 in a local hospital. She was a member of the Church on the Rock and worked with Love, Inc. for many years. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Pace; brothers, Danny Pace and David Pace; and first husband, Robert Alvarez. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Vollman of Baytown; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Erin Alvarez of Leander, Jimmy and Cristen Alvarez and Jon and Linsey Alvarez, all of Baytown; daughters, Anna, Sarah, and Amie Vollman, all of Baytown; mother, Ella Dean Pace of Dayton; brother, Donald Pace of Haleiwa, HI; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deana and Chester Rummel of Corpus Christi and Beckie and Phil Ewing of Dayton; and grandchildren, Tera, Justus, Staesha, Kade, Jourden, Evan, Aidan, Addison, and Audrey.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, May 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Meekins officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be her sons, James, Jimmy, and Jon Alvarez, nephew, Glenn Adams II, Jeremy Meekins, and Kenrick Griffith.
