Margaret J Jacobson Hartzog

She was a dedicated wife and mother. She was a life-long member of St Paul’s Lutheran Church. She has served numerous roles in the church, such as singing in the choir and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James E. Hartzog, her parents and four siblings.

She is survived by her sister, Irene and husband Gordon Ashwood; children and their spouses, Robert Hartzog, Judy Pasadyn and husband Ron, Howard Hartzog and wife Jeanne, Shirley Gustavson and husband Gus and Jim Hartzog and wife Theresa. She is also survived by her grandson Alex Pasadyn and granddaughter, Alicia Nellis, along with eight other grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 712 Schilling St., Baytown, TX. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
