Margie Hartley

Margie Christian Hartley passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 3, with her family by her side. Margie was a beloved Momma, Mammaw, Aunt and friend and loved by all that met her. Mrs. Margie was a strong Christian lady and a member of First Baptist Church-Pasadena. She was an avid reader and loved basketball, football and was Peyton Manning’s biggest fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carl who she was married to for 51 years, her daughter Dianne, son Hudson and great-grandson Lance. She leaves behind her son Mark and wife Rhonda, her daughter Lyndy and husband Gary (Doskocil), her daughter-in-law Kathy Hartley, son-in-law Scott Bowlin, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 sister-in-laws and a host of nieces and nephews. Also her much loved caregiver Carolina and her family, her precious neighbor Sandy and her Homebound Minister Betsy.

Her family would also like to thank her neighbors Jim, Tim and Diane for always watching out for her and all of the wonderful people at CHI St. Luke’s Patients Medical Center for their loving care during the last few weeks.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the First Baptist Church-Pasadena Members@Home Program are welcomed.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at Grandview Cemetery, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505, with the graveside service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
