Maria de Jesus Hernandez

Maria de Jesus Hernandez, born on April 20, 1964, in McAllen, passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 61. A resident of Baytown, Texas, Maria was a kind-hearted, devoted, and faithful individual who touched the lives of many.

Maria was a devoted mom and grandmother, lovingly raising two sons, Juan Armando Hernandez (Diana Hernandez) and the late Everardo Hernandez (Maria Isabel Hernandez). Her family extended to six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was a loving daughter to her father, Jose Chavira Sr., and cherished the memory of her late mother, Maria De Refugio Chavira, and her two sisters, Marina Cruz and Maggie Rodriguez.

Maria's personal interests included gardening, cooking, and spending cherished moments with her grandchildren. She had a passion for fishing and crabbing, which brought her joy and relaxation. Her devotion to her Catholic faith was evident, where she was known for her dedication and commitment.

Family-oriented, loving, and caring, Maria was deeply devoted to her father and maintained close bonds with her sisters and brother. Her legacy of love and devotion will be remembered by all who knew her.
