Marvin Ernest Morgan Jr.

He was born December 19, 1958 in Baytown, TX to Violet Burrell Keigley and Marvin Earnest Morgan Sr. Marvin attended Baytown schools and played football for Robert E. Lee High school. He graduated from La Porte High School Class of 1977.

He worked as a Crane Operator in the Construction Industry for many years. He was known as a very skillful and hardworking man, giving 110% in all he did. Marvin enjoyed playing guitar, singing, and doing many outdoor activities. God and family were important in his life and he enjoyed reading the Bible and attending Lakewood Church in Houston.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his daughters Amber Keyes (Doug) of Highlands, TX and Heather Ozio (Jake) of Vidor, TX, 2 granddaughters Anna Keyes and Faith Ozio. Also his mother Violet Keigley, Grandmother Arzera Crocker Morse, 2 sisters Barbara Davis (Keith) and Charlotte Mallow, and his Aunt Brenda Mosley (Arthur). Also left to cherish his memory are 3 nieces, 2 nephews, many cousins, and friends.

A private graveside service will be held 2 pm Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, or Lakewood Church in Houston.
