

Mary Irene McKay passed away Thursday evening, June 9, 2005, in a local nursing home. She was born March 8, 1910, in Wooster, Texas to Walter and Maude Brown. She was a homemaker, a member of First Church of Christ Scientist, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Pioneer Club, and several bridge clubs.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey McKay; sister, Sybil Horne and brother, J. W. Brown; sisters-in-law, Helen Dewitt and Jane McKay; and niece, Leta Warner. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Anita & John Blumberg of Kingwood, Texas, grandchildren, Kay Graves and Robert Blumberg & wife Jeanine, great granddaughter, Cortney Blumberg, brother-in-law, Dr. Vernon McKay & wife Dottie of La Mesa, Tx. nieces, Louise Weir and Marylyn Ormson, nephews, Lewis Walter Brown, Dr. Jim McKay, and Rev. Roy McKay, great nieces, Joanne Finley and Jana Jones, and step grandchild, Nicole Swanson
Graveside services are scheduled for Monday, 11:00 am at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Glen Norman officiating.
