Mary Ann Strother

Mary Ann Strother, 54, of Baytown, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 at home with her family by her side after a long battle with cancer. She was born May 29, 1958 in Terrell, Texas to her parents, Glen H. King and Reubine Turner King.

Mary Ann had lived most of her life in Baytown and attended Peace Tabernacle Church. Some of her biggest enjoyments were her grandchildren, cooking, the holidays, animals and dancing.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glen H. King. She is survived by her mother, Reubine King of Baytown, her loving husband, Van Strother of Baytown; children, Vanna Schutte, Corie Davidson and her husband Jason, Tracie Willis and Jessica Loftin and her husband Thomas all of Baytown; sister, Paula Roth and her husband Larry of Baytown, brother, Joel King and his wife Sheila of Cove; grandchildren, Brandon and Boyd Davidson, Cassie, Lorelai and Piper Willis and Emily and Ashley Robinson, her special pet, Nicky D and many family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jason Davidson, Jody Roth, Bobby Roth, Brandon Davidson, Kyler Davidson and Boyd Davidson.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Navarre Funeral Home. Services will be held at Greater Peace Tabernacle in Baytown, Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. James Coffey from Second Baptist Church officiating.
